Mrs Northall has just telephoned School to report that all of the children have cleared their rooms and packed.

They have two activities this morning before lunch and the weather is fine drizzle.

The children have all had a good time but are looking forward to seeing their families later today.

They will leave PGL at 1.30 p.m. and are due to arrive back at School for 3.30 p.m. traffic permitting...

We will update the site later once Mrs Northall has confirmed they are on their way...

Another busy day.

Breakfast at 7:30am - Four activities, room inspections, the shop and now the disco. A very full day for all of us!

The weather couldn't have been better which is always good.

Many of the children are finding it tiring but spirits are high and ice cream for pudding tonight went down well.

The boys took the longest to get ready for the disc tonight - interesting . . .

The rooms were much better today which was encouraging.

The children can't believe this is their last night tonight.

I think it will be hard to get some of them up in the morning -  we will see.  So tomorrow its packing and activities then lunch - clearing rooms is going to be fun.  We will update the website when we leave to give you an idea of arrival times.

See you all tomorrow.  .

An exhausting day!

The children have had a great day and have been enjoying getting to know the site and taking part in the activities.

A couple of girls needed a cuddle as it dawned on them they were away from home, but within minutes were off running around. They are eating well and enjoying the food - no one is starving.

Our group has received lots of praise for their good behaviour and attitude.

One child forgot a toothbrush but as far as we know that's all that has been forgotton.  So well done to whoever did the packing.

Tonight the evening activity was 'Whacky Races' - which they always enjoy, but they asked to leave as they wanted to go to bed . . . That's a first.

They also had their first room inspection - one of the boys' room was so bad that you couldn't see the floor for clothes.  You can guess if this might be your child's room.

They are learning a lot about taking responsibility for themselves whilst having a good time.

There will not be chance for me to write in the morning but I should be able to get internet access tomorrow evening with another update.

A Good Night.

The children settled well and there was mostly quiet by 10.30pm. The staff were impressed by the how well the children settled.

This morning they were happy to get up at 7am!!!!  They all ate breakfast and are excited to start their activities.

The weather is dry and the sun is shining.

A good start.  I will write again this evening with an update for the day.

Enjoy your weekend - the children are.
