Admissions
On 1st July 2014 Tudor Court Primary became an ‘Academy’ School. The Governors decided at this time not to change the School Admission Policy or Procedure. Thurrock Local Authority will continue to process applications on our behalf through their Admissions Department. Our School has continued to commission our appeal process through the Local Authority for the foreseeable future.

Admission to Nursery
Unlike the allocation of school places through Thurrock Council, the allocation of Nursery places are the sole responsibility of the School.
A Registration Form is available from the School Office or below. Children are admitted annually in the September following their 3rd birthday. Places are allocated with priority to catchment children based on the distance from school to home. Children attend five sessions Monday to Friday either mornings or afternoons and these 15 hours are government funded. Parents should make a separate application to Thurrock Council for school places. The children remain in our Nursery until July each year, prior to them starting full time education.

Admission to Secondary Schools
At the start of your child’s final year with us (Year 6), Thurrock Council issue information about how to apply for secondary schools. As soon as this is received in school, we will pass this to you. Schools hold Open Evenings, where you are invited to attend and view their facilities. Applications must be submitted by October half term. We would advise you to list as many schools as possible on your application. Once places are confirmed to parents (usually March) we will start to liaise with the secondary schools to ensure a smooth transition for all of the children.
