The School Day


Registration for children in Reception – Year 6 takes place at 8:40 AM. Doors are locked promptly at 8:55 AM. Children have access to classes at this time.

Children not accompanied by an adult should not arrive on-site before 8:35 AM as there is no staff supervision on the playgrounds at this time.

Classroom doors are locked promptly at 8.55 AM. Children arriving after this time must be accompanied to the office where they sign in and record their lunch requirements for the day.


Children who attend our Nursery classes are allocated either morning, afternoon or 30 hour funded sessions and attend Monday to Friday inclusive.

30 hour funded sessions are from 8.50 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Morning sessions only are from 8.50 a.m. to 11.50 a.m.


Assemblies take place on Friday for KS1 and KS2. Reception Classes have their Celebration assembly on Thursday.

Assemblies held by members from the teaching team take place each week and collective worship takes place each day.


Nursery (Full Time) – 11:30AM – 12:00PM

Reception – 12:30PM – 1:15 PM

Year 1 and 2 – 11:30PM – 12:15PM

Year 3 and 4 – 12:15PM – 1:00PM

Year 5 and 6 – 1:05PM – 1:50PM

Children are not permitted to leave school during their lunch break sessions. Parents are welcome to collect children at the start of the lunch break or five minutes after the end of the session. The only exception to this is if we call parents to collect their child due to illness.

Children not in school for the morning session can return five minutes before the start of lunch or five minutes before the end of their lunch break session. Children who go home for lunch are only permitted to return five minutes before the end of the lunch break session.

End of the school day

3:00 PM School finishes children are collected promptly directly from classrooms

You must notify the class teacher or the office before 2.45PM if someone other than the regular contact is collecting a child from school i.e. Grandparents, family friends etc.

Due to safeguarding we will not release any child to someone who is not known to us without prior parental authorisation.
